History
How and when was VIAHR founded?
Through my daughter Liss, God showed me that we all have and deserve a second chance and that miracles do exist.
I always lived with the guilt of not having shared my daughters' second-grade school trip with them. But GOD is great and merciful, and my daughter invited me to take a trip and have an experience that I never thought would be possible: picking apples and pumpkins on a farm outside New York. After 26 years, I was able to fulfill that dream.
That's where Vacation is a Human Right comes from, from the need I had for so long to take a break. Time for myself, time to share with my family, with friends, with the nature I love so much, in short, with everything.
Where does the name VIAHR come from?
When I realized how long it had been since I had taken a vacation, I asked for time off from work to go on a trip with my family; the obstacles and humiliations I went through made me deeply regret having sacrificed so much. That's how the name VACATION IS A HUMAN RIGHT came about.
